In the process of working on the packaging design, the decision was made to use the shoe box as a foundation – a brand of sportswear admired by millions of people worldwide. Among the extensive range of the company, there is one footwear line that particularly stands out for me – . It was decided to focus on working on the packaging for this specific line.
Initially, I didn't start with a specific design in mind. Instead, I chose a model and color that appealed to me and began contemplating a design that would harmonize well with this pair. After researching stock options and exploring numerous possibilities, I settled on the
Taking into account the predominant color of the footwear, it seemed natural to make it one of the main colors of the box. After experimenting with various options, I settled on a tried-and-true yet very effective combination, making the primary color. Purple is opposite to orange on the color spectrum, creating a visually striking contrast.
After a brief composition adjustment and the addition of shadows and highlights, the design was finalized. The last step was to try out the result on a mockup, and the final outcome can be seen on this slide. It turned out to be quite minimalist yet vibrant, aligning with the expectations associated with a brand like Nike. The design effectively showcases the product and provides all the necessary information, fulfilling the intended goal of the project.
